Précision_sur la representation :	Le Christ en croix est représenté la tête légèrement inclinée vers la droite, le visage encadré par deux longues mèches, les yeux et la bouche ouverts, bras et mains ouverts, pieds croisés en rotation interne. Un soin particulier a été apporté à la représentation des détails anatomiques (ossature, musculature, articulations). Un important flot de sang est représenté s'écoulant de la plaie du côté ainsi qu'au niveau du front, des mains et des pieds. La tête est ceinte d'une couronne (tresse de joncs). Le périzonium court est noué sur le côté gauche. Les bras ont été assemblés au reste du corps par des chevilles en bois. La croix polychromée, dont les extrémités horizontales ont été raccourcies, est enchâssée dans la corniche du pilier par une encoche taillée à cet effet. Elle est fixée au mur par deux pattes métalliques au-dessus des épaules du Christ. Le décor peint composé de lignes ondulantes s'étend sur l'ensemble de la croix.
