Précision_sur la representation :	Le Christ en croix est représenté la tête inclinée vers l'épaule droite, le visage encadré par deux longues mèches, bras et mains ouvertes et pieds croisés en rotation interne. Les détails anatomiques sont exécutés avec précision notamment au niveau du visage, de la cage thoracique et de la musculature des jambes. Un important flot de sang est représenté s'écoulant de la plaie du côté ainsi qu'au niveau des mains. La tête est ceinte d'une couronne (tresse de joncs). Le périzonium court au plissé soigné est noué sur le côté gauche. Le revers plat laisse apparaître la technique d'assemblage (chevilles en ois, clous) des différentes parties composant la sculpture (tête, épaules, genoux) ainsi que le système de fixation sur la croix aujourd'hui disparue. De nombreuses traces de polychromie et de dorure sont encore visibles malgré les dégradations subies.
