Historique :	La région Midi-Pyrénées conserve un grand nombre de ces plats de quête. Leur origine semble allemande, d'après les inscriptions fréquentes dans cette langue autour du motif central. Mais des ateliers ont pu copier ces modèles en France, du 16e au 18e siècle. Les motifs de ces deux plats semblent datables de la seconde moitié du 16e siècle.

Motif central, entouré d'un rinceau ouvragé, figurant la Vierge de l'Apocalypse debout sur un croissant de lune, entourée d'une gloire rayonnante. Plat n°2 : Marli décoré au poinçon. Motif central, entouré d'une inscription et d'un rinceau, figurant l'Annonciation, avec la Vierge, à droite, à genoux derrière un pupitre, et l'ange à genoux sur la gauche.
