Historique :	Cette Vierge de Pitié a été retrouvée lors de travaux de restauration en 1953 dans la chapelle du Purgatoire, ancienne chapelle Saint-Jacques, au sud. Elle avait été utilisée comme matériau de remplissage pour murer la porte communiquant avec la chapelle voisine. Elle provient sans doute de la chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Pitié qui se trouvait, en 1596, sous le clocher. D'après la visite pastorale de 1596, cette chapelle était meublée d'un autel et de trois statues sans tête ni bras.

Observations :	Photographie manquante.
Précision sur_l'état :	La tête de la Vierge manque. Le Christ est lui-même fragmentaire : manquent la tête, les jambes et les bras. Traces importantes de polychromie ancienne, notamment sur le vêtement de la Vierge.
Précision_sur la representation :	La Vierge, assise, les mains jointes, tient son fils mort sur ses genoux. Elle porte une robe à manches longues et un manteau drapé sur les épaules.
