Historique :	Achille Mestre (1874-1960) devient professeur suppléant à la faculté de Droit de Toulouse en 1900, puis agrégé en 1904. Jacqueline Bez, sculpteur née en 1927, suit les cours de l'Académie de la Grande Chaumière entre 1945 et 1946, et expose pour la première fois en 1956 lors du Salon de la Jeune Sculpture au Musée Rodin. Sa première exposition personnelle a lieu en 1961.
