Description :	Deux groupes de trois stalles attribuées au charpentier Gaillard Jourda et aux menuisiers Jean Bureau et Pierre Pali. Bois sculpté, teinté, ciré,accotoirs et miséricordes ornés d'un décor sculpté.

Historique :	Ces deux groupes de trois stalles proviennent de la basilique Saint-Serin à Toulouse. Elles appartenaient à un ensemble commandé par les chanoines après l'incendie de 1668 au charpentier Gaillard Jourda et aux menuisiers Jean Bureau et Pierre Pali. Elles ont été faites sur le modèle de celles de la cathédrale Saint-Etienne de Toulouse créées en 1610. En 1790, Saint Sernin est devenue église paroissiale. Le jubé et une partie des stalles ont été déposés dont 22 stalles basses et 28 stalles hautes avc leurs lambris, galeries et murailles d'appui. En 1808, la fabrique de l'église Saint-Michel de Villemur-sur-Tarn en acquiert 10. Il n'en reste aujourd'hui que 6. Les stalles de Saint-Sernin ont été classées au titre des Monuments historiques en 1840.
