Historique :	Oeuvre restaurée en 1836 par Clavère, doreur, originaire de Saint-Béat, que l'on rencontre à Pointis-Inard pour les saints Sernin et Eutrope. Statue très proche de celle de Saint-Aventin ou de celles de Mont ou de Bordères-Louron.

Précision_sur la representation :	Appartient au type des Vierges commingeoises : Vierge assise, de face, portant l'Enfant Jésus sur le genou gauche et tenant dans sa main droite levée une pomme symbole du péché originel. La Vierge est vêtue d'une robe dont l'encolure laisse voir celle d'une chemise plissée ; un manteau à bordure de franges l'enveloppe. Ses cheveux partagés par le milieu sont nattés, recouverts d'un voile et d'une couronne à fleurons. L'Enfant vêtu de manière similaire et également couronné, tient un livre dans la main gauche et bénit de la main droite.
