Historique :	Ermite irlandais venu s'installer dans le diocèse de Meaux au 7e siècle, saint Fiacre est devenu le patron des jardiniers parce que connu pour avoir miraculeusement ouvert un fossé de la pointe de son bâton afin de délimiter le terrain qui lui était concédé par l'évêque de Meaux. La toque avec laquelle il est représenté était à la mode à la fin du 15e siècle. Victor Allègre propose de dater cette statue du 16e siècle.
